Day 1- Colombo city

 Upon your arrival our guide will pick up you at the Katunayake International airport and take you to Colombo port city. Then you will visit the Dutch museum, Federation of self Employees market and old city hall. After that we transfer you to your hotel in Port city Colombo. And you are free to relax at the sundown beach there.

 

Day 2- Colombo

Today you’ll visit to places such as, Gangaramaya temple, National museum, Art gallery and if you’d like something a bit more stylish, Colombo has growing collection of chic boutiques and stores. Late evening you can enjoy some entertainment events like rock party and night stay at Colombo.

 

Day 3 – Kitulgala

Today you will be going for the rafting at the Kelani River at Kitulgala. In the evening you can do swimming or bathing at river side as per your wish and take a good rest here with admiring the surrounding hills and spend the night at Kitulgala.

 

Day 04 – Hatton – Adams peak

Wake up early morning and take good footwear, waterproof and leech repellent items. You will be able to take jungle hiking today with guide. Here you can see Sri Lanka’s endemic birds and beautiful flora.

After the lunch our guide will transfer you to Hatton, Dalhousie, the traditional starting point for the pre-down ascent of Adam’s Peak. You can start the 7 Km climb from Dalhousie and don’t forget to bring a good sleeping bag to keep you warm overnight at the top or you can wait until 2.00am to start. The climb is of steps most of the way (about 5200 of them), but with plenty of rest stops. You’ll reach the top in 2 1/2 to 4 hours. And at around 2.30am if you start to get down you can reach before dawn, which will be around 6.30 am. After this marvelous hiking you must have a good sleep and some rest, you are free today for relaxing with spa. If you like you can visit tea plantation here too.

Day 6- Ella via Nuwara Eliya

Our tour guide will pick you at your hotel around 8.00am to transfer you to Ella .On the way you will see beautiful waterfalls, fascinating tea plantation and you can also visit the Castle tea factory. You can taste a pure natural cup of tea there. After two hours of drive we’ll reach world famous hill city Nuwara Eliya which is also called as little England. You can discover places such as Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, Hakgala garden and understand the Tamil culture and also visit the “Seetha Amman” temple. It has a glorious legend. After all these you’ll reach your destination at Ella. Check in to your hotel and have some of Sri Lanka’s tastiest home-cooked food. And overnight stay at Ella.

 

Day 7-Ella and around Arugambay

Today you’ll visit some historical places in this tour. First you’ll visit Sri Lanka’s most atmospheric ancient site at Yudaganawa. Also nearby, Maligawila there is home to a 11m tall standing Buddha statue that’s over a thousand years old. And then continue to travel to Arugambay. Evening you will check into your hotel at beautiful beach side and you are free to renew your mind. And spend overnight at Arugambay.

 

Day 8-9 – Arugambay

Next two days you can join many beach activities such as surfing, sunbathing and swimming etc. Don’t miss a boat trip exploring the nearby Portugal lagoon.

 

Day 10 – Arugambay to Kataragama

The 10th day in this exclusive tour you will be visiting interesting coastal plains of Kataragama. On the way you will find time for a brief detour to Sri Lanka’s tallest standing Buddha at Buduruwagala. Soak up beauty of the tiny lakes and listen to the birds, stay at Kataragama

.

Day 11 – Kataragama to Thissamaharama

Today you will be discovering the most important shrine in the Mahadevalaya, which contains the lance of the six faced, twelve armed Hindu war god, Murugan (Skanda) who is considered as identical to the God Kataragama. This place is surely going to teach you about the Hindu cultural in Sri Lanka. Also you will visit the Kirivehera and Sivam Kovil Shrines which are dedicated to the Buddha and Lord Ganesh (the remover of obstacle and champion of intellectual pursuits) respectively. There is also a Bodhi tree here. Standing beyond this temple complex is the Kirivehera, a large white washed Buddhist dagaba.  And then finally you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Thissamaharama.

 

Day 12 – Yala safari adventure

 

Today you’ll join the safari in Yala National park, where you can spot most of Sri Lanka’s iconic critters with monkeys jumping through the trees, peacocks in their finest frocks and cunning leopards sliding like shadows through the undergrowth. Yala National park is the Jungle which brought a glorious life to many animals.

Next you will visit Yatalawehera dagaba, built 2300 years ago by King Mahanaga. Also you will visit the large white restored Tissa dagaba. This dagaba has a circumference of 165m and stands 55.8m high. It is thought to have held the sacred tooth relic and forehead bone relic in ancient times. It’s attractively lit up at night.

In the evening you are free to check out the huge flocks of egrets that descend on to the trees around the lake to roost. (Tissa Lake) Also you can take a boat trip around the lake or spend your time relaxing and spend overnight in Thissamaharama.

 

Day 13-14 – Tangalle

13th day of your tour, you will be going to the South coastal beach. During these two days you will enjoy the sun bathing, turtle watching and historical temple visiting. This tour will create a good picturesque memory to your enjoyable life journey. 13-14 days overnight at Tangalle

 

Day 15 – Mirissa

Today morning you’re going to the South coastal which is the final destination in this tour. After your check in at your hotel at Mirissa you can join the leisure activities here such as: snorkeling and surfing. If you do need to move, then there are some pleasant walks, one heads up a steep series of steps from the main road to the small Kandavahari temple, while the headland is a good spot to view Weligama bay.

 

Day 16Mirissa and Departure

Today is the last day you are in Sri Lanka. Today you will get the opportunity in joining one of the most famous activities that almost every visitor to Mirissa takes part. That is the whale watching boat trip. The blue whales are the planet’s biggest creature like no other. And then is the time to say good bye to your exclusive tour. Our tour guide will transfer you to Katunayake International airport in Negambo. And the tour ends here.
